Attention

 

We will be practicing Monday through Thursday from 5:30PM to Dusk and Saturday from 9:00AM to 11:00 AM at the Burnley Workshop Field in Snydersville, PA.



2009 NAJFL POSTED ON THE FORMS PAGE. EXACT DATES AND TIMES WILL BE POSTED WHEN WE RECEIVE THEM.

 

The season is almost here!  equipment handout to take place July 15th thru July 17th at the American Legion in East Stroudsburg from 6-8 pm.  We missed many of you for parent orientation and the information that was handed out then will be available at equipment handout.

 

FOOTBALL:

 

July 15th is A and B teams children ages 10 and up as of May 1st.

 

July 16th is C team children ages 8 and 9 as of May 1st.

 

July 17th is D team children age 6 and 7 as of May 1st.

 

Fees due:  $10 for hard cup chin strap if not kept from prior year and optional girdle purchase.

 

Please note:  If you have multiple children on different levels, you can size them both on one night and if you are not able to make your scheduled night but another night, please let me know.

 

CHEERLEADING:

 

All cheerleaders will be sized on July 16th as that is the only day Schyulkill Valley Sports will be there to size the girls for their shoes, socks, and bloomers.  If you are unable to attend this night please let me know.

 

 

Fees Due:  $25 for shoes, hairbow, bloomers, and socks.

 

Please note: Have your daughter wear a tank top or tshirt appropriate to have her uniform top layered on top to ensure correct sizing and socks to try on shoes.

 

 

 

FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING SIGNUPS!!

All other levels of football and cheerleading will be put on a waiting list.

Note to Parents

Your base registration includes all equipment used for practices and games. There are many cost associated with football that no one sees. Some of the items are down markers, first aid kits, blocking dummies, etc. MYFA purchases the best in equipment for our boys & girls (helmets are the Air Helmet) we do this for one reason - it is a non-profit organization and the MYFA Board Believes and manages themselves by Putting our Athletes and Safety First. Helmets although reused, must be sent out for refurbishing every other year - this is an additional expense. We have a cost of maintaining the equipment - painting of fields, the storage of equipment, etc. There are many great volunteers who donate their time to do some of these projects but still there is a need for more donations and volunteers. We cannot stress enough that no items are provided by Monroe County – everything is paid by the association. 

The MYFA Board is trying to make the organization the best it can be for all of our Athletes. We would love to have any help you can give – your time may not be tax deductible but it is Youth Appreciated.
